SDEWES Welcome reception will be held at CBAE, Av. Rui Barbosa, 762 - Flamengo, Rio de Janeiro, at 18:30 h, where you will have the opportunity to meet other participants and enjoy local couisine and music. We recommend using UBER as alternative transport option.

Tuesday, January 30 – 14:15 h sightseeing trip to Sugarloaf Mountain
19:00 h conference dinner at the Fogo de Chão Botafogo restaurant
Our SDEWES social event will start after the lunch break, where buses will pick us pa at the conference venue and take us to Sugarloaf Mountain, one of the main touristic attractions in the country. SDEWES conference dinner is organized at 19 h at one of the best rodizio restaurants, Fogo de Chão Botafogo. This authentic gaucho style Brazilian steakhouse restaurant seats up to 400 guests and offers a view of the Sugarloaf. Bus transportation is organized to and from the restaurant. Limited selection of drinks will be available (water, juice, soda, national beer (Paulistânia and Original), caipirinha and national caipiroska (lemon and pineapple) and one tea or coffee per person). Additional drinks can be purchased.
